UPS Increases Use of Renewable Natural Gas

All Clean Energy CNG fueling stations in the Coachella Valley sell only renewable natural gas (RNG). CNG fueling stations here in the Coachella Valley are in Desert Hot Springs (just off Palm Drive on Park Lane), Palm Springs Airport, Cathedral City Arco on Date Palm, and Palm Desert at Burrtec - all open to the public

United Parcel Service will make its largest investment in RNG by agreeing to purchase 10 million gallon equivalents from Big Ox Energy. "Natural gas is a proven alternative fuel to gasoline and diesel and is a key building block for our goal to reduce greenhouse gas emissions in our ground fleet," said Mike Casteel, UPS director of fleet procurement.
